Wet Disc Brakes

Heavy-duty wet disc brakes that are purpose-built for improving the life and reducing the serviceability of brakes to address the increased load and stopping demands of extreme applications. These heavy-duty disc brakes feature a multiple disc set-up which is ideal for high torque and heavy load capacities. They are oil cooled for better heat dissipation and are fully integrated with the axle (not unit mounted).
Hydraulic Disc Brakes
Heavy-duty hydraulic disc brakes are purpose-built for the increased load and stopping demands of the heaviest off highway applications. SAHR90 spring-applied hydraulic-released parking brakes can fit onto a variety of disc diameters and provide reliable mechanical braking/holding and automatically apply if the hydraulic circuit pressure is lost.

S-Cam Drum Brakes

The heavy-duty S-cam drum brake delivers the performance needed for tough applications with improved efficiency and multiple friction materials available to meet the demands of unique vocations. Cast and fabricated shoe options offer flexibility in installation packages for faster and easier maintainability when servicing, and chamber bracket and remote mount options for actuator attachment provide packaging flexibility.
Wedge Drum Brakes
The Wedge drum brake delivers powerful torque with a compact installation envelope. This heavy-duty drum brake features optional wear indicators and single or double actuators to increase torque in the same size brake package via air or hydraulic service and service/park actuation. The floating shoe system loads the drum equally to optimize lining wear and drum life (double actuated option), and comes in 12-, 14- or 16-degree wedge angles with a variety of friction materials for different vocations.
