The AxleTech International PRC775 series planetary rigid axle is engineered to meet the increasing powerful demands of the heavy-duty industrial lift truck market. With a capacity up to 83,000 lbs. (37,650 kgs.), this axle covers a broad range of lift capacities ranging from 17,500 to 35,270 lbs. (8.0-16.0 M.T.).

The PRC775 planetary rigid axle offers a wide selection of gear ratios, load capacities and brakes for performance characteristics tailored to your needs.

Engineered for compatibility with demanding traction conditions, the PRC775 meets the trend of increased driveline torques, tire sizes, and loading requirements and provides ruggedness for prolonged life. A limited slip differential with a 2.0 bias ratio is available for improved traction in unique vocational requirements.

The PRC775 design helps reduce OEM end-user maintenance costs. A standard unitized input pinion seal reduces the likelihood of oil leaks. Extra axle housing magnets also come standard to help reduce metallic contamination between scheduled lubricant change intervals.

Options include wheel mounted wet disc or irPlt cam brakes. Optional input mounted hydraulic Hold Off/Spring Applied caliper park brake on a 16.0″ (406.4mm) rotor is also available. Failsafe brake chambers are also an available option when cam brakes are specified. For severe duty cycles, optional force- cooling ports are available on wet disc brakes to allow for auxiliary cooling. Mechanical wear indicators for the wet disc brakes are an available option to permit visual inspection without axle/wet disc brake disassembly.

AxleTech International’s planetary rigid axles are tough, dependable and thoroughly proven under the most severe conditions.

AxleTech International is the former Rockwell® Off Highway and European Specialty Products Group.
